Susie V. Kirvin Sneed, age 82, of Gulfport, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Sneed was a native of Apalachacola, FL and was a graduate of Florida State University. She retired as a budget analyst after 27 years from the Naval Construction Batallion Center and she was a member of Bayou View Baptist Church and the Cheshire House Parents Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvan Sneed, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Kirvin, and 2 brothers, Joe Kirvin and Franklin Kirvin.
Survivors include her children, Mary Melinda Sneed, Margary Hartley, both of Gulfport, Gwendolyn Rhea Palmiere, Colorado Springs, CO, and Bruce Sneed, Pensacola, FL, 3 grandchildren, Joseph Palmiere, Nicholas Palmiere, and Eric Sneed.
The funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport where friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
