Susan Yaeko Moore, age 85, of Mandeville, formerly of Gulfport, passed away on February 26, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Moore, Sr.; a son, Louis "Eddie" Moore, Jr.; her parents, Minokichi Uchino and Chie Sato Uchino; a sister, Toshiko Ojima; and a brother, Shigemasa Uchino.
She is survived by her children, Linda A. Nichols (Jack), William "Bill" R. Moore, and Richard P. Moore (Jackie); 2 sisters, Miyoka Shina and Sieko Terauchi; 11 grandchildren, Christopher Downer (Chelsea), Joey Nichols (Maricel), Seana Walters, Louis "Eddie" Moore, II, Tiffany Henry (Ricky), Mikel Moore, Teryn Moore, Jessica Moore, Kenneth Moore, Chynna Watson (Wesley), and Nick Clark (Haley); 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Moore enjoyed going to the casinos, playing solitare, and working with flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 4, 2019, from 9:30 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
