Susan Madigan

Susan Starita Madigan, 55, of Pass Christian, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 in Pass Christian.
She was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. Susan was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach and worked at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. She was very active in the Cursillo Movement of South MS and enjoyed working with all of the clergy and parishes in the Diocese of Biloxi. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Vera Starita, and her brother, Larry Starita.
Survivors include her children: Robert Madigan, Gulfport, Kyle (Natalie) Madigan, Pass Christian, Matthew Madigan, Gulfport, Lynn (Monte) Mulherin, Saucier, Leigh (Billy) Seal, and Jackie Taylor, both of Long Beach; her siblings: Joey (Beverly) Starita, Pass Christian, and Diane Starita Howell, Pass Christian; long-time best friend, Sheila Smith, Long Beach; 9 grandchildren: Kadie, Brayden, Addyson, Wyatt, Mason, Sean, Emily, Caroline, and Felicity; and members of the Madigan and Starita families.
The visitation will be Saturday, January 7, 2006 from 11 am - 1 pm at the Sacred Heart Cursillo Center in Dedeaux. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm in the Cursillo Center.
Interment will be in DeLisle Cemetery.
