Sue Betbeze, age 83, of Mobile, passed away on March 20, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Allene Betbeze; and a brother, Billy Betbeze.
She is survived by her children, Sheila "Shan" Foster (Roger), Mike Kelly, and Beth Adcock (Roger Pritchard); her siblings, Gaines Betbeze (Betty), Jerry Betbeze (Millie), and Libby Richter; 4 grandchildren, Samantha Heintz (Cory), Elizabeth Wright (Jacob Wilkinson), Nicolas Leyva (Hylyn Hammer), and Kelly Adcock (Thomas Graf);4 great-grandchildren, Morgan Heintz, Camden Heintz, and Joshua and Sammie Leyva; a dear friend, Janet Hope; special friends, Will and Leighann Johnson; and other relatives and friends.
Ms. Betbeze was active in many organizations in Mobile including volunteering at the Saenger Theatre, Mobile Garden Club, Mobile Red Hatters, and the Mobile SPCA.  She was also active in the National Alliance on Mental Illness where she named volunteer of the year.  Ms. Betbeze was also a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Mobile and was a graduate and active member of the Spring Hill College Alumni Association.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 1050 Azalea Road, Mobile, AL 36693.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mobile SPCA, 620 Zeigler Circle, Mobile, AL 36608.
