Steven Hayes

Steven Hayes, Sr, age 55, of Lizana, passed away on January 30, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joean Richards, his father, Gene Hayes, and his grandparents, Gayden Hutson and Ola Mae Hutson.
Survivors include his wife, Gay Nell Hayes, 2 children, Stephanie Darnell, and Steven (Mandy) Hayes, Jr., 6 grandchildren, Jessie (Aaron) McAllister, Austin Darnell, Madison Hayes, Alyssa Bellew, Austin Bellew, and Lonnie Darnell, 1 great-grandchild, Levi McAllister, a brother, Ray (Judy) Hayes, and a sister, Tammy (Brian) Michaelsen, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Hayes worked as a carpenter and enjoyed gardening, his family, and especially fishing. He was a fun loving man that enjoyed helping others and he enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday 12 pm - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Finley Cemetery.
