Steven Glen Evers

Steven Glen Evers, age 68 of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi passed into our Lord's arms on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the VA Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi.
He was born on September 12, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama. He was the second son of Mabrey Curtis and Marjorie Mae Evers. He entered the United States Marines in 1964, in which he served our country until 1974, keeping freedom coming through Vietnam. After leaving the Marines he attended Auburn University ""WAR EAGLE"", he received a Bachelor of Science in 1979.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Wanda McMullen Evers of Bay St. Louis; his daughter, Michelle (Matt) Swofford; two granddaughters, Taylor and Lauren of Prattville, Alabama; his step-daughter, Jessica (Joe) Leggett; three grandsons, Isaiah, Nehemiah, and Kaleb of Robertsdale, Alabama and his brother, Raymond (Elizabeth) Evers of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabrey Curtis and Marjorie Mae Evers and his step-son, Jeffory Cubicke.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015, at 1:30pm at Biloxi National Cemetery.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, served the family.
