Steven Dobson

Steven Ray Dobson, age 67 of Woolmarket, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his father, James “Brother” Dobson; his mother, Ruby Dobson; and a sister, Jackie McDaniel.

Steve is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cindy Dobson; his children, Jason Dobson (Jamie) and Joe Dobson; his sister, Jeanette Breland (Bobby); his grandchildren, Justin Dobson, Hannah Dobson, Brittany Sumrall (Brad), and Zack Chapman; his great-grandchildren, Bayleigh Sumrall, Branson Sumrall, and Emmiline McDaniel.

Steve was a native of Gulfport and he retired from Coast Electric after 35 years of service, and he loved deer hunting.

Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Biloxi River Baptist Church, 13340 Rene Ave, Gulfport, MS 39503, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00PM, interment will be immediately after the service at Coalville Cemetery, 12298 Shorecrest Rd, Biloxi, MS 39532
