Steve Read, 44, of Pass Christian, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Gulfport.
Steve was born in Amarillo, Texas; graduated in 1981 from De La Salle High School in New Orleans and was a current resident of Pass Christian. Steve was a former owner of the Blue Rose Restaurant.
He was preceded in death by his father, David D. Read, Jr.; sister, Kathy J. Roberts; and brother, Michael Read.
Survivors include his wife, Roxanne Read; daughters, Hannah and Shelby Read, all of Pass Christian; mother, Eva Ly of St. Augustine, Florida; brother, Alan Read of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to join the Read family for visitation on Friday, February 8, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pineville Presbyterian Church, Menge Avenue, Pass Christian. The Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m. in the church, followed by burial in Live Oak Cemetery.
