Steve Allen Albert, age 59 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Monday, August 29, 2011, in Gulfport.
Steve was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport and he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. He retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service.
Mr. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Etian Albert and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie Albert of Gulfport; his mother, Dorothy (Leon) Murrell of Tennessee; his sons, Joshua (Dawn) Albert of Pass Christian and Jeremiah Albert of Gulfport; his brothers, Ronnie (Betty) Albert, Max (Sabrina) Albert, and John (Leslie) Albert; his sisters, Joanna (Ron) Daniels, and Ester (John) Carroll and eight grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
