Stephen F. Thompson, 60, of Gulfport, passed away Monday March 9, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mr. Thompson was born in Fayetteville, NC and he was a resident of Gulfport for 40 years. He worked for the United States Post Office for 30 years. He enjoyed gardening and playing golf.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Peggy Thompson; and his brother, Larry Thompson.
He is survived by his two children, Kelly Thompson and Scott Thompson; sister, Lisa (Mike) Cabaj; sister-in-law, Laura Thompson; granchild, Lainey Thompson; and two nephews, Christopher Cabaj and Taylor Thompson.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 10-12 Noon with the funeral immediately following at 12 Noon at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. Interment will take place at a later date.
