Stephen James Delaney, Sr., age 69, of Gulfport, passed away on November 23, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.S. and Mamie Delaney; and a brother.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Delaney; his children, Stephen James Delaney, Jr., Stephanie Lynn Delaney, Shelly Miller, Stephanie Mills, Sherry Brewer, and Sabrina Ladnier; 2 sisters, Laura Ballard and Ilene Pell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Steve was active in the Masonic Lodge across the coast. He served as Past Master and Secretary of the Orange Grove Masonic Lodge #635, a 33 rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of Gulfport York Rite Bodies, a member of Joppa Shrine Temple, and Past Worthy Patron of Eastern Star Harmony Chapter #397. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed spending time with his children.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 26, 2018, from 9 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A graveside service will be at 11:30 am in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.
