Stella Chapman

Stella Jean Chapman, age 66, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011.
Stella was born in Whitfield, MS to Thomas Eugene and Stella Leola Strickland. She worked for years as a medical stenographer in the New Orleans area and here on the Coast. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Long Beach, where she was a former choir member.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Thomas Lee Strickland.
She is survived by her brother, John Alfred Strickland of Long Beach; nephew, John Strickland, Jr. (Farrah) of Tampa, FL; and nieces, Ashley Weaver (Dean) of Long Beach, April McMurphy of Long Beach, and Malissa Neale of Long Beach; great nephews, Sawyer, Tyler, Trey, Maxon, and Jase.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, at 2:00 p.m.
