July 31, 1963 — February 23, 2019

Stanley James Watford age 55, of   Vancleave,  Mississippi went home victoriously to be with his Heavenly Father on February 23, 2019.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 31, 1963, the son of James Alexander Bethel and Ruth Irene Watford.
Stanley received his high school diploma from New York School of Printing.  After graduation Stan, as he is affectionately known to family and friends, enlisted in the United States Navy where he served honorably for 20 years.  CE2 Petty Officer Stanley Watford served in two Naval  occupational  specialties during his military career.  His first 10 years was spent as a Fleet Sailor, specializing in Aircraft Support Equipment Maintenance. In his second 10 years, he excelled as a Navy Seabee performing the diversified duties of Construction Electrician (CE2), Second Class.
During his active military service, Stan met and fell in love with Miriam Allende, the joy of his life.  They were married on November 27, 1999 and to this union, three beautiful children were born.
After retiring from the Navy, Stan was employed for several years as a Security Officer at Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula Mississippi.  Stan also owned and operated his own Business, Universal Security LLC.
Always faithful to their spiritual walk with God, Stanley and Miriam attended  Northside Assembly of God Church, Biloxi MS.  As active members, they participated in many church events that provided Christian outreach to the surrounding communities.   He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need; Stan voluntarily offered his time and talent in electrical and maintenance work throughout the church facilities.  He provided scheduled grounds security services to his home church on a continual basis.  Stan and his family regularly attended weekly services and Bible Studies.
