Spencer Nolan Henry

Spencer Nolan Henry, age 11 and a resident of Ocean Springs, died on Friday, January 23, 2015, in Saucier.
Spencer was a native and lifelong resident of Ocean Springs and was currently a 4th grade student at Ocean Springs Upper Elementary School. Spencer had a fun and loving spirit, was popular with his peers and he loved pirates. He was very interested in history, the Civil War, and had a dream of one day serving his country in the U.S. military.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Betty Henry, Jr.
Spencer is survived by his mother, Misty Henry of Ocean Springs; his father, Scott (Sheila) Henry of Gulfport; his siblings, Ashley Peschel, Joey Mullins, Tyler Henry, Trey Maddox, and Morgan Henry; his maternal grandmother, Carol (David) Spencer of Ocean Springs; his maternal grandfather, Harvey (Carolina) Epperson of Tampa, FL; his uncles, Daniel Havelin and Steven (Shawn) Henry; his aunt, Susan Henry; his godfather, Jeffery Denney and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 3:00pm and go to Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs for a 3:30 p.m. graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donated books be given in memory of Spencer to Ocean Springs Upper Elementary School, Attention: Media Center, 2320 Government Street, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
