Sierra Jefferson

Sierra Stablier Jefferson, age 42, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at USA Medical Center in Mobile.
Sierra was born in Gulfport and went to Gulfport High School, MS Gulf Coast Community College and Blue Cliff College. She was employed as a Certified Medical Assistant with Memorial Hospital Pediatric Clinics and also with ULTA. She attended Temple Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her father, Anthony S. Stablier, Sr.; two brothers, Sammy and Gordon Stablier; and sister, Sarah Stablier.
Sierra loved hanging out with her family, especially her children. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jerome V. Jefferson, Sr.; her mother, Peggy Stablier; her sons, Jerome V. Jefferson, Jr. and Ricco A. Jefferson; her daughter, Alizabeth S. Jefferson; her sisters, Jennifer Hurlbert (Robert Jones), Vera Schmidt and Owedia Alvarado (Juan); her brother, Gary Stablier; her mother-in-law, Sarah R. Jefferson; her two brothers-in-law, Hezzie Jefferson (Janet) and Quintin Jefferson (Tina); her three sisters-in-law, Pamela Jefferson-Whyte, Cynthia Palmer (Deravel) and Nicole Jefferson; and a host of family and friends.
The family of Sierra Inez Stablier Jefferson acknowledges with our most grateful sincere appreciation of all acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy shown during this most difficult time. Thank you and may God richly bless each of you.
Friends are invited to join the Jefferson family on Saturday, August 19th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 14190 Dedeaux Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be at Finley Cemetery in Harrison County. There will be a repass at the church following the committal service.
