Sidney """"Ray"""" Cuevas, Sr., age 77 and a resident of Saucier, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008, in Saucier.
Mr. Cuevas was preceded in death by his parents Daisie Cuevas and Eluvia Thigpen Cuevas; and his sister, Rosemary Mitchell.
Ray is survived by his wife, Pam Cuevas, of Saucier; his children, Marie Janell (David) Bell of Long Beach, Rita (Mike) Paul, of Gulfport, Michael (Doris) Cuevas of Saucier, Sidney Ray Cuevas, Jr., of Gulfport, Charles Ray Cuevas and Courtney Cuevas, both of Saucier, Mickey Ray (Jeanie) Cuevas of Tennessee, and Teresa (Jesse) Duncan, of Wiggins; his siblings, Gracie Ford of Bay St. Louis, Johnny (Tillie) Cuevas and Betty Jean (Larry) Arnold, all of Gulfport, and Elmer (Leona) Cuevas of Silver Creek; his sister-in-law, Kathy Courtney, of Byrum; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Mr. Cuevas was a member of Free Will Pentecostal Church in Gulfport.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at 2:00PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport with a visitation from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery in Gulfport.
