Shirley Willis

Shirley Ann Willis, age 77, of Saucier, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017.
Mrs. Willis was born in Gulfport to Willie and Sedonia Barber. She loved country music and spending time outside, especially mowing the yard. She was a caregiver at heart, completely devoted to her family, and taught them to love and respect each other and work hard. She was like a mother to the neighborhood kids and was always there when needed. She will be remembered for her unending love.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lillian Traw; brothers, Charles Barber and Joseph Lemuel Barber; son, Ernest Theodore Willis; and granddaughter, Christian Griffin.
She is survived by her sister, Mittie Torries of Saucier; children, Regina Blackstock (Jeff) of Pass Christian, Eddie Willis of Saucier, Willie Raymond Willis (Amy) of Lizana, Johnny Willis (Martha) of Gulfport; special grandson, Larry White, Jr. and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport from 1:00-3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to breast cancer research or to Millcreek of Long Beach, 6003 Daugherty Road, Long Beach, MS 39560.
