Shirley J. Sessum, age 71, of Pass Christian, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Sessum was preceded in death by her husband, Don Sessum, Sr., her parents, Frank and Alcidene Jackson, her father and mother-in-law, Tom and Fran Sessum, a daughter, Denise Sessum, and a great-grandson, Caden McDyer.
Survivors include her children, Donna and Mike Wade, Donald and Gina Sessum, Darleen McDyer, and Dawn and Mike LaMarca; 1 sister, Ruth Giroir; grandchildren: Preston and Vicki Wade, Jenna and Damian Oldmixon, Melissa Sessum and Thomas Sessum, Deanna and Tim Davis, Brian and Megan Reid, Devon and Michael Driskell, Ashley McDyer, Kristen and Jason May, Anthony LaMarca, and Aaron LaMarca; great-grandchildren: Sarah, Jacob, Andrew, and Benjamin Wade, Kaleb and Declan Oldmixon, Hannah Jacob, Lauren and Matthew Davis, Carter Reid, Gage Pruitt, Brodie Driskell, and Gabriella McDyer; nephews: Jim and Jeffery Giroir; and several other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4 pm Monday, May 26, 2008, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Menge Ave., Pass Christian.
