Shirley ""Rose"" Rizzo, age 59, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011.
Mrs. Rizzo was a resident of the coast since 1977. She served in U.S. Air Force and later retired from KAFB as a legal secretary. She enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling, and writing poetry.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Clark, her mother, Gladys Clark Hastings, her step-father, William ""Red"" Hastings, 3 brothers, Lee Clark, Dee Dee Clark, Bobby Clark, and a niece, Tammy Hale.
Survivors include a daughter. Jessica (Darrell) Montiforte, sister, Patricia Clark, a brother, Danny Clark, 2 grandchildren, Haley and Brooke Cuevas, numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 - 8pm at Culpepper Funeral Home, Kosciusko, MS. The funeral will be at 11 am Thursday at Edgeville Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, is in charge of local arrangements.
