Shirley A. Parks

Shirley A. Brady Parks, age 75, of Long Beach, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Parks was a native of Shreveport, LA and had lived on the coast most of her life. She and her husband, Don, owned and operated The Palace Grill in downtown Gulfport for 52 years where they have served thousands of people and made many friends. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and faithful customers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Haskel and Elise Brady, and a granddaughter, Lauren Young.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Don Parks, her children, Toni Lott, Laura (Daniel) Haulsee, Donna (Bruce) Young, and Kelli (Eric) Hawkins, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, February 27, 2012 from 5 - 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A Reception will follow the visitation at the Long Beach Senior Center. The funeral service will be at 11 am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
