Shirley L. Overton, age 54, and a resident of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2008, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cook; her aunt, Ruth Thomas; and her best friend, Andrea Holly.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ted C. Overton, Sr. of Gulfport; her children, Dale Werner and his wife, Lori, Kirsten Werner, Megan Werner, Kevin Dahil and his wife, Vicki, Melissa Overton, and Ted C. Overton, Jr.; and 5 grandchildren, Clyde Louis Bair, William Pedron, Christopher Pedron, Cody Overton, and Savannah Pedron.
Mrs. Overton was a previous Practice Manager at Biloxi Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with a visitation from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at the First Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
