Shirley Dial Noyes, age 61 and a resident of Pass Christian, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 29, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Noyes was born in Oklahoma City, OK, spent most of her life in Louisiana and Mississippi and had been a resident of Pass Christian since June 2003.
She was a member of Williams Blvd. Baptist Church in Kenner, LA for 23 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Gulfport since 2004. She was an active member of the Timber Ridge Women's Club and a avid bridge player, where she fellowshipped with some of her dearest friends. She loved the MS Gulf Coast, including the beach and her grandchildren captured her heart. She was also very witty and very intelligent
Mrs. Noyes is preceded in death by her parents, Khlon & Maxine Johnson Dial; her brothers, Buddy Dial and Jimmy Dial and her sister, Carolyn Dial.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Noyes, Sr. of Pass Christian; her children, James (Shawnta) Noyes, Jr., of Pass Christian, Stephen (Lesley) Noyes of Reserve, LA and Sandy (Reggie) Murray of Nashville, TN; her brother, Lester Dial of Flagstaff, AZ and her six grandchildren, Stevie, Lindsay, Casey, Brianna, Mason, and Preston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2008, from 6-8pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian. For more information, please call (228)539-9800.
