Shirley Hanstine

Shirley Marion Hanstine, age 94, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021.
She was born in Pennsylvania to Marcus J. Van Loan and Beatrice Eldred Van Loan. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was a cherished wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Reuben Hanstine, of whom she was devoted until the very end; her parents; her sons, Richard and Roger Hanstine; and her granddaughter, Misha Hanstine
She is survived by her daughter, Lucile Crosby (Richard); daughter-in-law, Jan Hanstine.  She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Greg Crosby (Susan), Don Crosby (Teresa), Christina Crosby Bellanger (Mike), Clarise, Elizabeth, and David Hanstine.  She received continued blessings with eleven great-grandchildren: Christopher, Chase, Courtney and Camryn Crosby, Savannah Crosby Peden (Wesley), Lily and Carianne Crosby, Jamie and Caleb Burch, and Hannah and Andrew Bellanger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Bible Baptist Church, Gulfport, from 9:30-11:00 am.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.  Interment at Biloxi National Cemetery will be private.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Bible Baptist Church, Gulfport, with a visitation from 9:30 AM until the service.  Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
