Shirley Ann Fulton, age 78, of Diamondhead, MS, passed away on May 11, 2022.
Shirley was a native of Kiln, MS for many years then finally moved to the Diamondhead community where she enjoyed the small city. She loved growing water lilies and other exotic plants. She had a great love of working outside in her yard. Shirley had many friends and neighbors that she enjoyed going out to dinner with. She always had a special place in her heart for people that were down and out that needed a little helping hand. She was so kind and always extended her hand. Shirley was a night owl, loved watching her shows just to see what would happen next.
The little joy of her life was her little dog Mia, a Chinese Crest. She left her home one morning to pick out a Yorkie, however she came back with Mia. She said they fell in love, and she took her home. They are best friends and everyday go on a lunch ride to get burgers. They would ride around and look at flowers blooming, stop and get milk shakes from McDonalds.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie V. Peterson; her husband, James Ray LeCornu; and the late Mr. Paul Fulton of Dekab, MS.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Angela Ray Ladner (Keith J.), her brother, Samuel Leslie Vickers (Sherry); her two grandchildren, Jon Tyler Amacker (Erin) and MaCaleb Lee Ladner; and her two great grandchildren, Kaden Amacker and Alivia Amacker.
Shirley was loved by all her friends dearly and was blessed to have every one of them.
