Shirley Marzett Butts, age 87, of Gulfport, passed away on November 8, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Oren Butts; her parents, Andrew Howard Chaffin and Dovie Strickland Chaffin; 2 sisters, Kathern James and Mildred Geary; and brother, Ernie Chaffin.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Levins (Leslie); son, Cliff Butts (Nanette); 6 grandchildren, Thomas Butts, Nathaniel Levins, Julie Rossi, Freddie Stienwinder, Elizabeth Pociask, and Johnathan Levins; great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Butts worked in management for 17 years at Ford Motor Credit.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with the visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the O'Neal Rd. Church of Christ, 15121 O'Neal Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
