Shige A. Loree, age 83 and a resident of Saucier, MS died on Friday, July 18, 2008 in Saucier.
Mrs. Loree came to the United States in 1952, and has been a resident of the coast since 1974. She was known as the """"Worm Lady of Highway 67"""", she loved casinos (slots), gardening, crocheting and animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Loree, and, son Walter Loree.
Survivors include her children, Mary Loree Watson (John) of Saucier, Stuart Dolan Loree (Rebecca C. Albrecht) of Saucier, Kenneth Loree (Sandra) of Huntsville, AL, David Loree (Elizabeth) and Scott Loree (Kim) both of Saucier; nine grandchildren, Darlene Huff, Skyler Dolan Garcia, Rikki and Tomas Loree, D.J. and Charlie Loree, and Shane and Charmaine Loree; three great grandchildren, Alyssa Huff-Theriot, Nathan Holley and Tomas David Loree.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Southern Care Hospice, especially to Mrs. Talaresha Willis.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Biloxi National Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport is in charge of the service.
