Sherry Wascom

Sherry Ann Achee Wascom, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 3, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Achee, Sr. and Marie Englade Achee; her brother, Thomas Achee; brother, Timothy Achee and wife, Valerie; and brother, Chester Achee Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Wascom; her children, Bryan Blake, and Allison and Michael Ratcliff; her grandchildren, Hunter and Charlie Ratcliff; her brother, Mac Achee; her sister, Jennifer and her husband, Ken Maloney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sherry was a Louisiana native and of the Catholic faith. She loved restoring and sewing for Antique dolls, camping with her husband, listening to music from the 50/60’s, and enjoying Disney World, the Smokey Mountains, and Fall Creek Falls. But, she was the most passionate fan of LSU Sports. She enjoyed her last years in Diamondhead where she enjoyed her newfound friends and Farkle group. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

The family will have a private memorial to honor her life.
