Our mother, our friend, our love, lived a rich fulfilling life, maybe not rich with wealth, but much more importantly rich with love. Sherry was a devoted mother, wife, and friend bringing joy and happiness wherever life led her. Through good and bad times Sherry lived with a heart of gold giving love and compassion to whoever was in need. No matter what obstacles in life she endured, Sherry emerged with a positive attitude and held no grudges. Mom left impressions of herself with every soul encountered, by living a life full of loving values. Forever lost but never forgotten a whisper in the wind. Mom, Sherry Darlene Cruz, is forever our angel in Heaven along with her angels, beloved mother, Sara Savage, father, Edward Papke, and sister, Eileen Burkholder.
As we look back on life we have found ourselves wondering, did we remember to thank you for all that you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides to celebrate our successes and accept our defeats? For teaching us the value of hard work, good judgment, courage and honesty? I wonder if we ever thanked you for the simple things: the laughter, the smiles, and quiet times we shared? If we have forgotten to express our gratitude for any of these things we are thanking you now and we are hoping that you knew all along how very much we love you. You will forever be in our hearts, we love you mommy.
