Shelley Renee’ Robinson, age 40, passed away January 20, 2022.
She surely was an angel flying too close to the ground. Shelley fought a life-long battle with Friedrick’s Ataxia, a rare neuromuscular disorder. She graduated for Harrison Central High School in 2000, where she was named to the Hall of Fame. Shelley was also a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg. She earned a double major in French and Spanish and was selected into many honor societies, including ODK.
Shelley was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mr. H.C. Robinson, Dr. James Waddell, and Miriam Waddell; and her maternal grandparents, Mr. E.S. “Andy” Anderson and Hilton Anderson, and Mrs. Velma Anderson.
She is survived by her mother, Margie Robinson; her father and stepmother, Glenn and Lynn Robinson; her brother, Todd Robinson (Aliesha); her nephew, Charles Robinson; many cousins; and dear friends, Melva Chiniche, Lawrence and Susan Owens Rojas, Rachel Kard, and Gary Clarke.
Where Heaven and Earth meet, there is music. Music was Shelley’s passion and she attended numerous concerts. She was also a huge fan of Broadway musical productions. Shelley was a caring and compassionate friend to all. She was always giving her honest and best advice, her eyes of changing blue green always sparkled with an infectious, albeit a little bit devious smile.
While our angel has flown from this Earth but will always stay in our hearts.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kare-in-Home Hospice, that lovingly and respectfully took care of Shelley in her final days.
