Sheleen Golden, age 42, of Gulfport went home to be with her heavenly father on August 2, 2009, in Jackson.
Mrs Golden was a 1985 graduate of Texas City High School in Texas City, TX. She was a loving daughter, mother, and sister and will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Smith, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Bill and Anell Murff; and her paternal grandparents, Howard and Naomi Smith.
Her survivors include her mother, Elaine Smith, of Gulfport; her daughter, Shana (Johnny) Willis, her son Christopher Southern, both of Gulfport; her sisters, Cheryl (Dale) Farmer of Perdido Key, FL, Cindy (Tim) Rayburn, of Gulfport; her brother, Billy Smith, Jr., of Dallas, TX; her niece, Courtney Smith of D'Iberville; her nephews, Timothy and Jeffrey Rayburn, of Gulfport, Brandon Smith, of Tuscon, AR, and Patrick Smith, of D'Iberville; and two great nieces, Olivia Wheeler and Allie Earl.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, from 4:00 PM until 4:30PM for family and 4:30PM until 6:00 PM for friends. Services will follow immediately at 6:00 PM.
