Sharon "Red" Bastean

Sharon Ray Bastean, age 73, passed away on January 18, 2023 in Ocean Springs, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Betty Atwood; husband, Dennis Lee Bastean; and sister, Theresa Moore.

She is survived by two daughters, Chrissy Ray Bastean of Gautier, Debbie Bastean Lindsey (Adam) of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Ariel Leah Wood, Chelsey Leigh Wood, Savannah Nichole Childers (Timothy), Leland Blake Harlow, Jacob Aaron Bastean, Rayleigh Anne Lindsey; and brother, Thomas Atwood.

Sharon worked as an electrician for Ingalls Shipbuilding for 30 years.  She was an amazing mother and will be dearly missed by her family. She enjoyed the simple things in life and enjoyed nature.

She will be laid to rest with her husband Dennis at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. Services will be private.
