Sharon Mary Baldwin

Sharon Mary Baldwin, a beloved beacon of light and warmth, left this world on October 16, 2024, in Gulfport, Mississippi. Born on February 12, 1951, her journey through life was one filled with a steadfast devotion to family, friends, and community that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sharon's remarkable career spanned various roles, starting with her time at AT&T and moving through the Hancock County Municipal Office, where her dedication shone brightly. She later graced The Stuffed Shirt Factory and brought joy to countless customers with her endearing spirit during her years as a cashier at the Copa Casino. In every position she held, Sharon's infectious laughter and genuine kindness stood out. She never met a stranger; instead, she welcomed everyone into her life with open arms and an open heart.

Those fortunate enough to call her family include her loving husband, Robert Baldwin, and her cherished sister, Gaynell Blaze. Together, they created a strong, supportive foundation built on love and mutual respect that served as a model for all who knew them. Sharon’s legacy is steeped in the warmth and devotion of her family bonds, showcasing the importance of connection and care in all aspects of life.

Beyond her family, Sharon’s proudest accomplishments include her generous spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others. She generously volunteered her time at VFW Post 4808, where her kindness and service made a lasting impact on the community. Her willingness to lend a hand created a ripple effect of compassion that touched many lives and inspired others to give back.

Sharon's personality radiated positivity, and she was deeply loved by everyone she met. It is difficult to encapsulate the depth of her spirit, as she was so much more than the sum of her many roles. There will be a visitation 8:30 am - 9:30 am, Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Riemann Family Funeral Home Gulfport. There will also be a visitation 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm.
