Shannon DeCoito

Shannon Dwayne DeCoito, age 56 of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

He left behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Mary Ladnier King and Frank William DeCoito, both of Gulfport; his children, Dylan DeCoito of Portland, OR, Kiersten DeCoito of Memphis, TN, Joshua DeCoito of Gulfport, MS, and Kortney DeCoito of Gulfport, MS; and his siblings, Daniel DeCoito of Gulfport, Frank DeCoito of Lewis, DE, Katherine King of Memphis, TN, David DeCoito of Gulfport, MS, and DeAnna DeCoito of Gulfport, MS; and he is also survived by his three aunts, Patricia Losie, Dianna Harrison and Vera Rutledge; many cousins and friends.

Shannon had a love for surfing, hunting, and riding his Harley. He loved music, ridiculous hair bands, and heavy metal. He was an aspiring drummer using the same beat over and over. He worked for 20 years as a Dealer / Supervisor in the Gaming Industry on the Gulf Coast.

As remembered by his children, he loved having large parties with family and friends. He enjoyed taking his children and their cousins fishing. He enjoyed being silly and never wanted his children to be afraid of anything.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 22, 2021, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
