Seabron Jackson """"S.J."""" Fuller, 80, of Gulfport, MS departed this life to be with our Lord on November 29, 2007. After a prolonged deteriorating illness, he is now able to rest peacefully.
Mr. Fuller was born August 6, 1927, in Alexander City, Alabama to Seabron Jackson Fuller and Agnes Smith. He was preceded in death by five sisters, E. Muriel Waters Martin, Clara Lucille Champion, Lucy Jenerette, Betty Ruth Rogers, Velma Doris Hollingshead, and three brothers, Douglas W. Fuller, Albert Fuller, and Andy Fuller.
S.J. retired from the United States Air Force after 20+ years of service. He then worked for and retired from Prudential Insurance Company. Mr. Fuller was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Bay Vista Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Chairman of the Ushers.
Survivors include his beloved wife of over 54 years, Carolyn Fuller; his daughter Vicki Smith (Steve) of Gulfport, MS; his son, Sidney Fuller of Tucson, AZ; two sisters Nell Moss (C.L.) and Mary Pennington (Herb). Mr. Fuller is also survived by three grandchildren, Tracy Malosh (Charles), Toni Penn (Charlie), and Lance Smith; five great-grandchildren, Carly, Trevor, and Brenna Malosh, Sydney Penn, and Trinity Smith.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Quality Hospice and the team at KAFB Medical Center for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2007. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
