Scott Joseph Moore, age 28 and a resident of Saucier, died on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, in Gulfport.
Scott was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Lizana and was an avid fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Eugene Moore; his grandparents, John J. & Veronica Beirne, Eugene B. Moore, and Helen Lombard; his great grandmother, Helen McGinnis and his uncle, Dennis A. Moore.
Scott is survived by his parents, Eugene ""Tom"" and Theresa ""Terri"" M. Moore of Saucier; his twin sisters, Jennifer Moore & Patricia Moore of Mobile, AL; his aunts, Eileen (Gary) Johnson of LaGrange, GA, Susan (Robert) Camden of Conyers, GA, Judith Dean of Delray, FL, and Maureen Franco of Gainesville, FL; his uncle, Steven Moore of Indialantic, FL and numerous cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church on Highway 53 in Lizana, where family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Mother's Against Drunk Driving (MADD), P.O. Box 97845, Pearl, MS 39288, www.madd.org, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
