Saundra Bolden

January 4, 1947 — August 21, 2022

Pass Christian, MS

Saundra Renae Bolden went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2022. Renae was born on January 4, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana and she grew up in South Mississippi. As an adult, Renae worked in the Dallas Police Dept and eventually moved back to MS where she obtained her Master’s Degree from The University of Southern Mississippi. She went on to retire as a special education teacher in the Long Beach School District. Missionary work always had a special place in her heart, and she loved teaching about Jesus. Renae was a talented artist, musician, and adventurer. In her free time, she enjoyed flying airplanes, kayaking around islands, and hunting for marine fossils. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her, including her children, Adrian Derek Bolden and Shannon Deshazer, her son-in-law Jason Deshazer, as well as her grandchildren Aurora and Judah Deshazer.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Jacob’s Well Baptist Church, 29554 Vic Faye Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571, from 10:00 am until funeral service at 11:00am.  A burial will follow in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, 28th Street, Long Beach, MS.
