Sandy Sue Stockman, age 49, born October 5, 1960 in Annapolis, MD, and a resident of Diamondhead, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.
Sandy's first love was serving the Lord. She was a faithful servant and member of Bayou Talla Fellowship. She was involved in the children's ministries, active in benevolence and offered her time to help in the church kitchen. She was always ready to do whatever she was asked. She had a servant's heart and was a blessing to all.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Dale Sanchez Russell and her father, William Edward Lester.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Tom Stockman, Jr. and their son, Tom """"Traye"""" Stockman, III, of Diamondhead. She is also survived by her brother, Terry Lester of Long Beach; her sister, Sherian Lester Kemp of Gulfport; her step-father, Algene Russell of Gulfport; and step-brothers, Greg and Roddy Russell of Gulfport and Gene and Bobby English of Diamondhead.
Friends are invited to join the Stockman family for visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2010. The Celebration Service will follow at 12:30 p.m., all held at Bayou Talla Fellowship, 18555 Highway 43, Kiln. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
