Sandra W. West, 60, of Kiln, died Thursday, March 16, 2006 in Bay St. Louis.
She was a native and lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Mrs. West owned and operated Twist and Shout Lounge and Restaurant in the Kiln and formerly owned Sandy's Bait Shop in Poplarville. She was a member of The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 58, Kiln. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, baking cakes, and collecting cookie jars.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Mr. and Mrs. Newton Lindsay. Survivors include her husband, Terry West, Kiln; children: Karl V. (Peggy) Wortwick, Kiln, Kurt J. (Kathryn) Wortwick, Moorsville, IN, Patrick M. (Martha) Wortwick, Laurel, MD, Jason Parker, Perkinston, and Kevin (Kate) Hawthorne, Montreal, MO; several brothers and sisters; 7 grandchildren: Ashley, Logan, and Amber Wortwick, Candy and Molly Hawthorne, and 2 children by Jason Parker.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 6 -10 pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Home, Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian. The funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in the West Family Cemetery, Kiln.
