Sandra Leigh Seymour, age 59 of Saucier
went home to be with her lord and savior on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Gulfport.
Sandra was born on August 24, 1949 in Harrison county and was lifetime resident of the coast.She was a retired special education teacher and received her Masters Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Saucier. A loving mother and grandmother was her real love in life. She showed her true courage as a four time cancer survivor.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Eurise A. Seymour,mother, Thelma Varnado and step-father, Spencer L. Varnado; her survivors include, her 4 children; Tammy (David) Dillingham of Picayune, Melissa(Jeff) Hopper of Saucier, Eurise III (Ashley) Seymour of Gulfport and Jessica Nicole Seymour of Saucier. Her siblings, Pat Nall, Kathy Busby, Jimmy Maskew, Brenda Loney, John Maskew and Karen Hodge, her father and step-mother, James Willie Maskew and Audrey Maskew.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Highway 49 North in Saucier from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the church and burial will follow in the Free Church of God Cemetery.
