Helen Sandra Ross Perry, age 78 of Gulfport, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017.
Mrs. Perry is a native of Mississippi City and attended Gulfport High School. Upon graduation, she attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she studied to become a teacher. Sandra is a lifelong member of St. James Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Gray and George Ross; and her husband, Gerald William Perry.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Pamela Perry (Hube) Parker of Mobile, AL, Callen Perry (William) Weatherly of Gulfport, MS, and Elizabeth Perry (Justin) Massey of Gulfport, MS; her sister, Elizabeth Ross Hoffman; her grandchildren, Catherine Elizabeth Weatherly, Helen Gray Parker, Margaret Mead Weatherly, Hubert Harold Parker, V, William Barrow Weatherly, Jr., Callen Perry Parker, George Perry Weatherly, Carolyn Dorsett Parker, Patricia Claire Weatherly, Anna Gray Massey, and Caroline Elizabeth Massey.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at St. James Catholic Church, 366 Cowan Road, Gulfport. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. James Catholic church or MD Anderson Cancer Center.
