Sandra Bates D'Angelo, age 63, of Woolmarket, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012.
Sandra was a born in Gulfport and was a life-long resident of Woolmarket. She has worked at Gulf Coast Mental Health Center since 1983 and was a member of Coalville United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, reading, gardening and her animals.
Preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Velma Strickland; husband, Jerry D'Angelo; sister, Bonnie Strickland; and brothers, Carl and Shelby Strickland.
Survivors include her son, Jordan Bates; siblings, William ""Butch"" Strickland (Annie), Jo Ann West, Clyde Strickland (Pam), Abby Brauchle (John) and Beverly Myers (Thomas); and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Loving daughter, mother, caregiver and friend, she will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49N in Gulfport. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Coalville Cemetery.
