Sandra Adkins

Sandra Ann Adkins, age 62, passed away on January 25, 2022 in Biloxi, MS.

Sandra was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, born to Kenneth Lewis Gilbert “Sugar Boy” and Betty Ann Gilbert. She graduated from Biloxi High School, Class of 1979 and was retired from working in the restaurant industry. She enjoyed going to the casinos and playing Bingo in her leisure.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Adkins (Miki Batteen); half daughter, Jennie Adkins Gorsuch (Adam); grandchildren, Brandon Hirth (Autumn), Danny Hirth, Drew Gorsuch, Luke Gorsuch, Elisabeth Ware, Aaron Batteen, Charlotte Busch; Godson Jesse Hill; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to extend a personal thanks to Kare-N-Home Hospice, Keesler First Responders, Biloxi First Responders and Riemann Family Funeral Home for their exceptional care and support.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:30 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. West Jackson County.
