Sandra Rose Kelley, “Sandi” passed from this life & gained her wings after courageously fighting a health battle the last three years. Sandi was born in Springfield, MO to Helen Kreig and Raymond Kinser, in this union, she had two brothers, R.C and Bob. She grew up in a blended family with five other siblings, Albert, Sarah, Betty, John and Ben. Each of her siblings held a special place in her heart. Her childhood memories included fond times, but also hard times, in which only the passing of time and the grace of God healed. Sandi talked fondly of growing up with her onery brothers, R.C. and Bob and when she became a young mom at the age of seventeen, she decided to quit high school and move in with her older sisters, Betty and Sarah. Sandi also had two special nieces, Kathy and Sheryl, who were like sisters to her.
Sandi had many professions throughout her life. In her early years, she wanted to stay at home and care for her children, so she provided daycare in her home. She had various jobs in her life but found her true calling as an apartment manager and she loved caring for her grandson Eli, who lived close to her.
Sandi was known for having a huge heart in caring for things and people. She always kept a beautiful yard, loved growing flowers and a garden. Later in her life, she moved to Long Beach, Mississippi where this became home. Here is where she found her life partner, Tom. Tom’s family became her family, and their years together were spent spending time on the beach and hosting family gatherings at Holidays and special occasions where everyone looked forward to her delicious cooking.
Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and son in law, Mackey. She is survived by her life partner of 34 years, Tom Wilz and 3 grown children, Bobbi Bellamy, (Fair Grove, MO) Shane Kelley and Kari Kelley (both from Mobile, AL) and granddaughters, Ryan and Jamey, her grandson, Eli, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a large extended family and circle of friends.
Sandi rededicated her life to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and we who are in the faith look forward to seeing her again one day. “Roses will bloom again..”
