Samantha Gibbons

Samantha Brook "Sam" Gibbons, age 32, of Long Beach, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at home.
Samantha was preceded in death by her pawpaw, Jon M. Freeman, Sr.; her aunt, Ginger Freeman Chichester; and her cousin, Aaron Newbaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Zoey Caroline Gibbons of Long Beach; her parents, Kerry Freeman Cameron and Dennis Wayne Cameron of Long Beach; her brother, John Allen Trey Gaskin of Wales, UK; her maternal grandmother, Sandra Freeman of Gulfport; her paternal grandmother, Sharon Cameron of Biloxi; her uncles, Jon Freeman (Amber) and Brian Cameron (Teresa); her aunt, Kathrin Holly (Dewayne); and her cousins, Cassandra Freeman, Jon Freeman, Jacob Chichester, Joshua Chichester, and Farrah Brook Schonewitz.
Samantha was born on July 28, 1989 in Gulfport. She was gentle, kind, with the most giving spirit; an animal whisperer, and plant lover. Anyone who met her was drawn to her beautiful smile, laughter, and huge heart. She was the best moma to the love of her life, her precious Zoey, who had needs that only Samantha could meet.
Samantha was the manager of Big P Store in Long Beach, where she met so many amazing people and was loved by her community.
She will be deeply missed by those who loved her. Never goodbye...it's see ya later.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
