Salvador David Alexander, age 89 of Pass Christian, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvador Henry Alexander and Mildred Mae Cuevas Alexander; his siblings, Doris Allen, Bobbie Hodges, and Roger Alexander; his daughter, Terry Gilmore (Russ Gilmore); his stepson, Leonard Allen; his grandson, Christopher Alexander; his granddaughter, Cassandra Alexander, and his sons-in-law, Dennis Dubuisson and Steve Townsend.
Salvador is survived by his wife of 52 years, Delores Alexander; his children, Mark Alexander (Sherri), Dale Alexander, Rhonda Alexander, Patricia Dubuisson, Tammy Townsend, Carol Allen, Diane Allen, Penny Brown (Erik), and Vicki Alexander; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
He served in the US Army from 1953 until 1955 as a Corporal. He was employed with Chemfax, Colonial Bakery, American Linen Supply, and retired after 27 years as a Boiler Operator at Keesler Air Force Base.
Salvador enjoyed fishing and helping others. He helped his father make syrup and he had a sawmill where he cut and hauled pulpwood.
We would like to thank the staff at USA Medical Center, Mobile and St. Joseph Hospice, Gulfport, for the care given to him during this time.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, with a visitation from 9:00 AM until the service. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery, Long Beach.
