Ruthie A. Verret Smith, age 81, of Poplarville, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010, in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her first husband, Buster Swilley, second husband Sindney F. Verret, third husband Clement Smith, and daughter Dorothy Swilley West; and her sisters Ruby Allen Moran, and Virginia Allen Chovan; and a brother, Milton Allen.
She is survived by her children, Cindy Ladner (Mike) of Poplarville, Milton aÌ‚â‚Å“ButchaÌ‚â‚ Swilley of Petal, and Uria aÌ‚â‚Å“HerbertaÌ‚â‚ Swilley of Bay St. Louis; siblings, Lounita Allen Aviant, Inita Allen Delancey, Sherman Allen, JoAnn Allen; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
The funeral service is Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11am at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
