Ruth Galloway Walsh, age 88, of Biloxi, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in Biloxi.
Ms. Walsh spent most of her life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the Orange Grove area. She retired from Sears as a receiving clerk. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ms. Walsh is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Picard; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Delbert Galloway and his wife Frances, of Woolmarket; her sister, Estelle Darr, of Baton Rouge, LA; her half brother, Ray Tolar, of Sandy Hooks, MS; 6 grandchildren: Barry Cuevas (Janice), Lynette Garriga (Joey), Dawn Russell, Suzette Bennett (Jackie), Paulette Galloway (Harvey), Ashley Maldonado (Jonathan); 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 30, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
