Mrs. Ruth Marie Necaise Hoda, age 64, resident of Kiln, was welcomed into the arms of our loving Savior on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
Mrs. Hoda was a lifelong resident of Hancock County. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in the White Cypress Community. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all.
Mrs. Hoda was preceded in death by her parents, Renice and Leona Necaise; son, Anthony Hoda; grandson, J.J. Hoda; brother, Darryl Necaise; and son-in-law, Vernon Dale Ladner.
Mrs. Hoda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles J. Hoda, Jr. of Kiln; children, Byron """"Buddy"""" Hoda, Bridgette Ladner, Rhonda (Ricky) Dedeaux, Desmond (Freda) Hoda, Casey (Kara) Hoda, Tosha (Michael) Lee, all of Kiln; brothers, Michael Necaise and Paul Necaise of Pass Christian; sisters, Diane Allen of Pass Christian, Marilyn Necaise of Kiln, Elaine Ladner of Pass Christian, and Sandra Necaise of Ocean Springs; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, White Cypress, where friends may visit from 6-10 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 2 pm, where friends may visit one hour prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
