Ruth Elaine Gibson

Ruth Elaine Gibson, age 78, of the Dedeaux community, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Odis Cuevas and Grace Deschamp Cuevas Ladner; her husband, Owen Gibson; her son, Rancy Gambill; and her sister, June Cuevas.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Timmy Gambill (Samantha), Donna Gambill, Tesia Gambill (Troy), and Tammy Gambill; her sisters, Patsy (Joe), Betty, and Jo Ellon; her grandchildren, Latasha (Ryan), Heather, Felicia (Justin), Justin (Brittany), Kimber (Paul), Megan, Koy (Kate), Blane, Jacob, Christopher, Britney, Seth, and Bobbi Jo; great-grandchildren, Raven, Brooke, Brant, Kirstin, Gracie, Kadence, Raymond, Ransom, Brenna, Alysa, Lathen, Aiden, Logan, Joslyn, Konner, Kylie, Jace, Jasper, Jestan, Kagen, Kylan, Kenzie, and Zander, Zayten, Zaxton, Zyrin, Ziyler, Cody, Savanah, and Phylis.

Ruth was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and enjoyed playing Dominoes and Canasta. Most importantly she loved getting together with her family so she could love on all of her babies.

Services for Ruth Gibson will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Refuge Baptist Church, 5755 Rocky Hill Dedeaux Road, Kiln, MS 39556 with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM, interment will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery, Kiln, MS.
