Ruth Ann Dowd, age 64, of Gulfport, passed away Friday, July 6, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Dowd was a long-time resident of Texas and had been a resident of Gulfport for the past three years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Smiley and husband, John, of Gulfport; and three grandchildren, John Michael Smiley and wife, Amanda, Jordan Smiley and Jake Smiley, all of Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Lois Dowd.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 2:00pm at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum Chapel. Arrangements by THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S Riemann Funeral Home in Biloxi.
